- Document content: the PDFs you upload and the placement of signature/date fields you add.
- Signers: the name they enter and the signature image they create when signing one of your forms.
Information collected automatically
- For account holders: standard server logs (IP, user agent) and login timestamps.
- For signers: IP address, user agent, and timestamp captured at the moment of signing — this is the audit trail you need for the form to be useful.
How We Use Your Information
- To deliver the signing service: store your forms, render them in the browser, overlay signatures, and store signed copies.
- To provide the audit trail (signer name, time, IP) on your form's detail page.
- To process subscription payments through our payment processor.
- To send transactional email related to your account or your forms.
- To respond to support inquiries.
Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who help operate the service (payment processor, hosting, email delivery, S3 storage).
- Account holders, when you sign one of their forms — they receive your name, signature, and the audit metadata.
- Legal requirements when required by law.
Data Retention
Original PDFs and signed copies are retained while your account is active. If you cancel, we delete your data within 30 days unless you request otherwise.
